Saue on väike, rahulik, turvaline, ilus ja looduslähedane 6000 elanikuga aedlinn, mis asub Eesti pealinna Tallinna piirist vaid kuue kilomeetri kaugusel. Linna staatuse sai Saue 25. augustil 1993.
Saue linna elujõulisust iseloomustab väga hea haldusvõimekus, laste ja noorte suur osakaal linna rahvastikus, positiivne loomulik iive, tööealiste suur osakaal ja kõrge tööhõive. Logistiliselt hea asukoha tõttu on ettevõtluskeskkond tegus. Mitmed siinsed ettevõtted on rahvusvaheliselt tuntud, nagu maitseainete tehas AS Santa Maria, teraskatuste tootja AS Toode, põllumajandusmasinate tootja AS Sami, külmutatud pagaritoodete tehas AS Vaasan Baltic ja paljud teised.
Saue linnas asub üks maailma põhjapoolseimaid hästisäilinud tammikuid, mille vanus küünib 5000 aastani. Saue mõisahäärber tähistab tänavu 222. sünnipäeva ja on üks Eesti varaklassitsistliku arhitektuuri parimaid näiteid.
Saue is a peaceful and secure small town of about 6,000 inhabitants with a lot of greenery that lies just six kilometres from Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Saue acquired the status of a city on August 25, 1993. The vitality of city is characterized by very good administrative capacity, a large share of children and young people in the population of the city, and a high share of working population. Due to its logistically good location close to main roads the enterprising environment is quite versatile. Several of the local companies are known internationally, such as the Santa Maria spices packaging factory, the Toode steel roofs producer, the AS Vaasan Baltic frozen bakery products maker and the Sami agricultural machines maker . Saue has one of the world’s last well-preserved oak groves of 5,000 years old. The Saue Manor Hall will this year mark its 222nd anniversary and is one of the best examples of the Estonian early classical architecture.
Saue (Friedrichshof) ist eine kleine, ruhige, sichere, schöne und naturnahe Stadt mit ca 6000 Einwohnern und befindet sich nur 6 km von Tallinn entfernt. Stadtrechte bekam Saue am 25. August 1993.
Die Lebenskraft von Saue kennzeichnet eine gute Verwaltungsfähigkeit, viele Kinder und Jugendliche, ein positiver natürlicher Zuwachs, eine groβe Anzahl arbeitsfähiger Menschen. Dank der Lage ist der Unternehmungsgeist sehr hoch. Viele Unternehmen sind international bekannt, wie z.B. die Gewürzfabrik AS Santa Maria, das Stahldachwerk As Toode, die Landwirtschaftsmaschinen herstellende AS Sami, gefrierte Backwaren produzierende AS Vaasan Baltic und viele andere.
In Saue befindet sich der bis 5000 Jahre alte, einer der am besten im Norden erhaltene Eichenwald. Das Gutsherrenhaus Saue feiert in diesem Jahr seinen 222. Geburtstag und gehört zu den besten Beispielen der vorklassizistischen Architektur.
